Beach or mountains? Which do you prefer? Why?
Beaches.
I’ve always been a beach person. Mountains are challenging and they question your fitness levels. By the time you reach the top of one mountain, you feel like you’re gonna give up on life!
Like God appears in front of me whenever I ‘try’ to climb up a mountain.
Mountains are great ‘mental-check-challengers’. Struggling (climbing) up a mountain gives you enough adrenaline to focus on nothing but the present. In the current moment, your legs burn. You try to make and keep the balance. You breathe heavily with a bag on your shoulders. You hold an expectation that the view on top will blow your mind away.
Beaches, on the other hand, are for ‘peace-seekers’. They want to feel the white sand beneath them. The waves rush and playfully chase them, challenging them to get a hold of it.
Enjoy sitting on the beach with the sun glistening. It sparkles the water in its presence. The silence is so loud that you can hear your mind clearly. If you are good at listening to people, you can actually hear the waves whisper to you.
I know I do!
Stories and secrets of people, creatures living in the ocean and everything you want to hear. Maybe, about yourself too, who knows! You just have to have the heart and faith in it. You will be bombarded with a lot more than stories!
Honestly, it does not matter if you are a beach or mountain person.
You’ll find your balance in both of them.
You will find the calm you need.
You will find what you came looking for.
Trust nature to do its job, you won’t be disappointed.
